The Buddies
The Breast Buddies Dragon Boat Team was formed in 2001.
We are an enthusiast group of fun-loving breast cancer survivors who have taken up the sport of dragon boat racing. Our mission is to promote awareness of a quality of life after a diagnosis of breast cancer. In doing so we hope to impart hope and empowerment to all with this disease. On or off the water, we are a visible sign to others that there is life after a breast cancer diagnosis.

Mondays & Thursdays
6:20 pm – 7:30 pm
New members welcome! No paddling experience required.
What to bring and wear for practice?
• Water
• Sunscreen
• Cool, comfortable, quick-drying clothing
• Appropriate footwear with good grip to prevent slipping when walking on dock or entering/exiting boat
• Sunglasses, ball hat recommended on hot sunny days
What equipment is required?
• Lifejacket
• Paddles (provided)
